Using Internet Explorer to FTP into your web site:

Internet Explorer 5.x and 6:

  1. To log on to a secure FTP site using Internet Explorer 5.x and 6 Log on to the FTP site by typing ftp://www.yourdomain.com.
  2. In the dialog box, type your user name, and then press TAB.
  3. Type your password, and then press Login.

 NOTE: The user name and password you enter in the Login As dialog box are passed through as plain text and may be displayed in the Internet Explorer title bar or status bar while you are connected to the site.
